We're in the midst of our annual membership drive. Please return your renewal promptly to ensure that your business appears on the business listing of our new website as soon as possible. And don't neglect to answer the questions at the bottom of the form! We want to hear your ideas about the kinds of projects the chamber should be working on. Thanks to those of you who have already responded. Work continues on our website. We'll be forming a Website steering committee at our March 9 meeting. Please volunteer to serve on that committee to ensure that our investment in this new website truly serves the needs of the business community.
Our new brochures will be ready by the end of May.
Planning for the 2010 Farmers' Market has begun and the response from the vendors who participated in the past is encouraging . We are considering having a second, weekday market in Palatine Bridge in addition to our usual spot on Saturdays at the Arkell Museum. If you know of any producers who might be interested in joining the Farmers' Market, please contact Michele at michelemcglone@hotmail.com. Applications to join the market will be available on our website in early February.
